gasket question

Hello i need to ask a question about valve cover gaskets.
Im changing valve covers on my 305 tpi engine and i need new gaskets. I was looking at summitracing and they had a Mr Gasket for 350 tpi engines. So my question is : will they fit a 305 tpi?

Yes, as long as they're for 87-up.

The reason they're listed that way in the catalog, is because they won't fit the 350 TPI in a Vette, which has different heads. The 86-back style fits those.

I would try to find a pair of factory silicone rubber gaskets, such as those used on the LT1s. They allow for a perfect seal with the ability to reuse them if necesaary, will not harden and crack, or soften and swell as some other gasket types can do. I'm not sure which Mr. Gasket number you're looking at, but it it isn't pure silicone, it might not be worth the shipping cost.
