What does a rebuild cost
Hey I was thinking about purchsing a 170,000 mile TPI motor will all accesories, wiring, and ECM for 1,000 to 1,200. I was wondering what the cost of a rebuilt would be. I would like to get a fuel injected 350 in sometime soon, but am wondering if the cost and mods needed would be worth it.
And if it would be eaiser, do you think this conversion package would be a good idea?V8 TPI Conversion Package

Theres absolutely no way anybody here can tell you how much it will cost to rebuild, unless they do it. You need to call around a few shops in your area to find out.

a basic long block were im at will run about $1350. Thats cleaning it all, boring, doing the heads, all new parts, and assemble. You start adding options like balancing and it starts to add up!
no way to know till after you're done and add up the reciepts. if you're cheap, use low quality parts, do everything yourself, and skip or skimp on machine work 500 dollars is reasonable. the other side of the coin is there is no limit.
