It only happens every so often when I come to a smooth stop, before a total stop before the car hit's 1st gear and the rpm's hit there lowest, The car makes this Reee sound, kinda like a fuel pump going out kinda sound, sounds like something is running. What could it be? any one have a clue.. I was maybe thinking power steering but there is no noise created when I turn the wheel. Not the brake pads because it does it some times while stopped just before the rpm's settle. Should not be the fans either because it does it also at times when cold. Does not sound like a bad wheel bearing either, if it was that be a new kinda sound to me. Does the windshield washer tank have some kind of motor? I have no water in there..Could it be something with the brake system..steering box.. It's going to be impossible to find out because it won't stay making the noise and let me get out of the car and listen for it.

 

im almost shure its a pressure plate if it is standard had a friends truck do the same thing for a long time turned out it was the pressure plate in the clutch.
it sounds like thats wat ur problem is.
