V6 -V8 swap, fuel line routing?

I'm doing a 2.8mpfi to V8 carb swap and was wondering if anyone thats done this swap is running a mechanical fuel pump and how did you run the lines or did you get some off a donor car?
If you have any pics please post them, I just don't want fuel line running all over the place.

Hi Dolph.
This may give you an idea.
I bought a 1991 RS with a blown up 305TBi motor (so the pipes went up the drivers side and I wanted them on the other side for my mech fuel pump). I cut the old fuel lines just around the trans x-member, and extended them with braided line (not the real expensive stuff), over the trans tunnel in the depressions that are there for that purpose and made up some ally clamps to hold them there. They now exit down the passenger side rail.
I left the fuel pump in there, but disconnected the relay connector. The mechanical fuel pump pulls through the old pump very nicely thank you.

I might get the lines off of the donor car if its not a PITA.
or I could cut the lines and do some splicing
