Oil pressure pegged

On my 88 GTA, I notice that the oil pressure is always pegged all the way to the right. Sometimes if it has been idling for a while, it will come down a bit, but when I'm driving, it's always pegged. I've had a couple cars in the past that this happened to and it was the oil sending unit. I can only assume that it is the same thing on this car. Where is the oil sending unit on an 88 GTA with a 350 TPI? Thanks for any info! Matt

It sounds like it is your sender. If the sender isn't behind the intake, it will be on the oil filter boss above your oil filter.

dont rely on the guages in your dash hook a mechanical guage that you know is reliable and test the pressure with that. Chances are its your sending unit like previously mentioned.
