when can I go full syn oil, put the motor in 3 years ago and only have 1,500 miles on
I have a new gm 350 replacment motor in my car, i put it in 3 years ago and have only put at teh most 1,500 miles on it, I changed the only in the spring and in the fall no matter what and start the car twice during the winter and drive it a few hundred miles during the summer. I have bneen useing regular oil but I was woindering if I should switch to syn oil (mobil 1 10-30)and if I change it in the spring do i still have to change it in the fall? thanks

It's ready now.
I use AMSOIL 15W40 syn Marine oil in the '57 because it has extra corrosion inhibitors. Helps preserve engines that sit a lot.
