Are you at a high altitude? Have you considered the fact that your Gtech may not be very accurate? Don't despair, try to get to a real drag strip and see how it performs before you do anything rash, like sell a good car.

your really not going to see much untill you start modding. None of the present mods you did really help the car to go faster. First off, id ditch the exaust in favor of headers and a good 3 inch cat back system and a better cam. How much you want and what the car can support are up to you to decide but a slightly more aggressive cam along with a custom prom really helps. Youll probably also want to look into gears if your car came with the numerically low ratio set of gears. Traction is also important. A good posi unit and some suspention work will really help it get moving without leaving a whole bunch of tread behind... I know i need some traction mods. Being able to do power slides and doughnuts at the mere flick of my right foot is fun but it really does nothing to help the car get going in a hurry.

first of all i dont believe the gtech anymore and yes im serious i know i cant exspect a 13 second car from what i have done im not stupid but i should be in the upper 14s but if im in the 16s you want me to spend money on a cam heads and headers so i can run in the 15s i dont think so. if the gtech is right and i dont think it is because last time i used it i ran a 15.@93 and now i did the cold air and ignition and it ses 16.7 i dont buy it i have to go to the track and find out but if i do find that it is true im gonna have to get the mtor redone with cam, ported heads, diffrent intake and so on.

what is this the insult board i understand how motors work and i know that my car should run better than 16s with a 350 ok 305 runs 16s easy so maybe you need to learn a little more.somtimes people just dont have the money to do the things they want to their cars so we do what we can with what we have.do me a favor and give me some good advice if you dont have anything good to say dont say anything at all.

Just because it is a 350 does not mean it is a performance or really fast motor! There are 305 that put out more power than a 350. I put a 350 in my Z28 and the 305 that was original was faster. It just depends on the setup and what you have on there!
good starts
Your off to a sorta good start with what you have done, from the looks of what you listed you have done maintenance not go fast parts.
Do a compression test, make sure your rings are all good.
First of the plenum porting is good, but you should port match your runners and base and TB that will allow for some good airflow.
Second the exhaust you have on there is a nice upgrade for a V6 car, you need atleast a 3" intermediate pipe with appropriate 3" muffler from flowmaster if you so choose. Good 3" catback would be your first stop for what money you have to spend.
Once you have the entire intake matched up, if you want to get aggressive, pull the heads and port them and match them up.
All the porting is free with a good grinder.
next if you don't have the money or don't want to get into a cam swap, I would investe in suspension, a good set of LCAs and panhard will go along way. Also a Torque Arm, but only if that is in your budget.
I would get headers next, a good 1 3/4" header, slp's is good.
IF you do decide to do the head work you could do the cam at the same time as you would want to replace your seals and springs and it would be easiest at that time.
Also take the car to a weigh scale equal mods in a 3400 pound IROC will result better time thn in a 3600+ GTA
If you need anymore help on combos and so on, do a search, there are alot of 350 combo's for you to choose from.

Yeah I think you are off to a good start. Keep the car running in good repair and make modifications slowly. Try to get to the track before any major upgrade to track performance increases. Also NOW is the best time for you to learn to burn and tune your own EPROMs. With a stock or littly moded motor you can learn the basic stuff and work with some other table to get used to how it all works. In the mean time you may find some speed, mileage, drivablity, whatever. Then once you save some cash to put into the car, you can get the most amount of performance potential. I agree with the others about your exhaust. Get some bigger pipes, 3" at least.

If I were you I'd start by scavenging the junkyards for a 350 block, and basically just build up from there... I'm not sure if you want to keep efi or go with a carb. but TPI can be good for up to about 300 some odd hp... with lots of modification..... so if you wanna go more with it i'd recommend something like a stealth ram or LT1...... all of this after of course you build the 350 Member

BTW: if you get 3 inch pipes... i'd be willing to buy the 2.5 inch ones off you if their in decent shape

The AFPR, cooler fan settings and t-stat, and advanced timing should have helped a little if the adjustments were done correctly. The underdrives and air foil probably didn't help or hurt either way.
its funny that you should post this, i was just thinking this same concept in my head.....have you checked to make sure that it is really a 350? maybe the previous owner(assuming you arent the first owner) had problems with the 350 and swappe d in a 305?

The AFPR, cooler fan settings and t-stat, and advanced timing should have helped a little if the adjustments were done correctly. The underdrives and air foil probably didn't help or hurt either way.
