egr block-off problem

Transmission: Borg Warner 5 Speed
egr block-off problem
I uh blocked off my egr, and It threw the code 53, so I reset my codes and took out the egr selenoid, now it still throws 53 but it will do it much sooner, is there anyway I can get it to not throw the code(besides putting egr back on)?

All the ECM is looking for is the resistance of the solenoid when it sends a signal to it. if you hook up the solenoid electrically (assuming the solenoid is good), it shouldn't have any problems, even with the valve blocked off.
