Ported/polished Corvette L-98 heads or some 180cc runner AFRs if ya got the dough, a LPE 74211 Cam, ported plenum, aftermarket runners and intake manifold, stroker crank, 9.5:1 pistons, 1.6 full roller rockers, and a custom chip.

If you go with the LPE cam and a 3.75" stroke crank, you'll probably need some H-beam rods to clear the cam. I did.

That combo should get you a mountain of mid-range torque.
High RPM (>5500 RPM) power isn't going to happen with a long tube runner (LTR) set-up.
If your willing to compromise on the LTR part, a superram will breath pretty well up to 6500 RPM and doesn't loose much mid-range torque compared to the long runner set-up. The Superram is also emissions approved if it matters to ya.

If your still not happy, another $3500 will get you a Paxton supercharger. That should qualify as "terrifying"!

Just spend your money on a supercharger and you will be really happy!
