Vibration (NOT A MISS) at idle...

What would cause a vibration at low rpms? Sitting in neutral I can feel a vibration, not a miss. (well maybe a miss too, but thats another story ) Whe I let the clutch out in first under normal driving conditions, around 5-700 rpm the vibration is most strongly noted. Any ideas?

Could be the rubber in the motor mounts has hardened up. Mine has a bit of a rumble/vibration too. Always has, but mine doesn't seem like anything to really worry about.

Mine does vibrate a noticable amount. You can see the shifter rocking side to side when its idling and you can feel it in the seat, but it isn't misfiring and it isn't really a "violent" or rough kind of shake. The same sorta thing (but to different degrees) has been in almost every big V8 car i've driven or rode in, like the Hemi Challenger, a 400ci Trans Am, my Z28, etc etc...

If it sounds anything like mine, i doubt you have much to worry about. Probably is just rock hard motor mounts.
