305 problem need help
I have an 86 camaro iroc-z with 65k miles on it, it has the 305 HO engine with a 5spd tranny. It is a great car and i love it, but for some reason whenever it gets warmed up it will start cutting out and bucking whenever i give it any gas. This problem has been very persistent and i have had alot of things done to try to fix it. I had new ignition put in, new fuel pump, and carb jetting adjusted. If u might know what the problem is please let me because i am really sick of this problem.

Did you replace the fuel filter? What exactly was replaced for this "new ignition"? How was the "carb jetting" adjusted?
I just checked with my dad and i had the fuel filter replaced already. I dont really know what my mechanic did to the carburator, but he tweaked with it and said it was working fine. So i really have no idea what is wrong with it.

I would guess it is one of two things: An ignition component that suffers when it gets warm; or a weak fuel pump.
I will give you 2 guesses from me. The igntion module.....gets hot starts to lose spark, however this usually causes it to go ahead and die. Or this is a far shot, but it has happened to me twice the distributor has a reluctor under the rotor these are prone to crack with a lot of vibration...Those are my guesses...I would also assume that by new ignition you would have changed the obvious spark plugs and wires.
