where is the speed sensor

where is the speed sensor on the car. my book just says t unscrew it and doesnt say where it is. so where is it?

the vehicle speed sensor (if it is an automatic) is in the tail of the tranny.

You didnt say what year your car is so.........they're both right.

"On 1984 and earlier models the VSS is incorporated into the
speedometer. On 1985 and later models, the VSS is mounted on the transmission."

Straight out of the book...........

yeh sorry i have a 91 so is it on the drivers side or the passenger side
