Gear to Gear Timing

I bought a quite pete jackson gear to gear. I installed it and believe I followed all the directions. I have an extremely loud rattling noise from coming from the timing cover. It goes away at about 1800rpm though. Any Ideas?

Did you check the clearance between the timing cover, idler gear, and block?
