"Dummy" A/C pulleys?

I believe that I have seen a few guys that have gotten rid of their A/C compressors and just run a pulley in its place. What are these called and why would I be able to find one? I have a 1990 Vette L-98 engine.

If you do a search for "a/c delete" youll be able to find a few threads in which the GM part # is listed, its actually considered a water pump pulley. Hope this helps.

I see 'em on Ebay all the time. Search 1Le, or AC delete.

Make sure you get the right one.

Anyone know what they cost new?
