84 trans am with the HS hood

I have a 350 with a Weiand stealth, and a edelbrock 750 carb,
K&N E-1450 air filter (14x3), the filter is in an edelbrock drop base. It has a 1" plastic spacer between the carb and the filter cause the drop base wouldnt fit all the way down over the carb.

I was wondering if anyone has a similar setup.
I want to add a 1" carb spacer, but I dunno if its gonna fit

I think it would fit without any problems. A holley street dominator with street avenger carb, and 14x3 flat base is a different story tho.
