No telling. It depends on too many things besides the "static" CR, not the least of which is the cam. The less cam you have, the higher the gauge indication will be; and its timing (valve timing, not ignition timing) affects it too.
Those numbers are pretty typical for a stock motor in the 8½:1 range, with a "peanut" cam or a 929 cam or similar.

its definatly not stock...doule roller timng chain, definatly lumpy cam 297/3-something cam, bored&stroked, dont know what pistons..but when i had the heads off..they had tall rectangular domes with valve reliefs in them
im just wondering cause the car has nice power in the first few gears..once it starts revving high in 3 & 4th it feels like its not pulling hard i was thinking it maybe was lower than usual comp. ratio cause i have 73cc heads. but i was hoping the tall pistons woud make up for it..i ported them myself and it helped a little.
i was thinking it could be the gear ratio..its a 9-bolt, all i found when i pulled off the cover was these #s which i have no idea what they mean..
