odometer question

did the 90-92 camaro's have six digit odometers or the five digit like the older models? Im asking because i want to get a junk yard 90+ 700r4 and i want to know if that one that teh guy says has "40k miles, still works, and only cost $350" really has 140 or 240 thousand miles instead.
