I had posted before about my car not starting at all, i turn the ignition and i hear a click, but the engine doesnt turn over. The batter connection seems to be good, the radio and everything else comes on, but not the engine. Is this the starter? Where can i get the part i need and how much is it? Someone said around $30 before, but the things i found online were in the 200s at least. Let me know what i really need to look for or if i have a different probelm. thanks.

Does it start with a jump? Check terminals to the battery also, accessories will still come on, but a bad/loose connection can cause your problem also.

 

if all you connections are good then it is most likely your starter, the 200$ starters you were looking at were most likely mini hi torque/gear reduction starters.
