car puffs smoke when cold, and first started up

had some people tell me it was bad valve seals, got a 1986 305 iroc, with original motor, not been torn into, i am not good at
head work, so am wondering about options, just get seals replaced, get heads redone, or go with other after market heads.
This car is my daily driver, and no hot rod, trying to sell it, so saving money, had some people concerned about the smoke. uses no oil between changes, or very little. any ideas?thanks for your help!

You should be able to swap the heads for a set a remanufactured heads for a couple hundred bucks.
Call around to some machine shops, better yet try to find a place that specializes in heads.

You can change the seals yourself, with little effort. If the car runs OK that's what I'd recommend doing.

Or you could leave it. It's not really hurting anything.

true enough , it is not hurting anything, just have buyers hesitant when the see it puff, i wont rip anybody off, and sell them a bad car, so i tell them what i know about it, and seems to scare them off.
