Does anyone know if I would have to use the stock sender since the computer is not being used anymore. The local dealer wants $70+ for a sender. I do not want to spent the money and not have the gauge work. This a 82 Z28 with a 305 thats' NQS. Any help would appreciated. thanks Vern

The oil pressure transducer has no effect on the ECM, so use an aftermarket sender if you like.
