problem..... i was working on my stero... bridging my amp.... when i turned on my stuff i went to close the hatch... and it wouldnt close!? Its got that automatic pulldown and close stuff and its not even close to working.... it wont even latch.

I checked the fuses under the dash, nothing wrong there... at least i think. PLEASE HELP its supposed to rain tonight.

 

It could be either
1) the medal touch plate to the left of the pull down motor.(little medal rectangles in a squar space ontop of the plastc) it could just be dirty, sand paper it to get a good electrical connection..

2)It could be the electrical plug on the pull down motor itself could have came out..

3) Motor might not have came up all the way could be stuck, try to wiggle it a little..

4) besides that.. DUNNO...

is the mech raised up still or did it go down back inside the compartment? If it lowered before latching your hatch you'll have to click it to open again and maybe stab around in there to get it to raise back up and then put your hatch down.

 

i checked it... the darn thing is stuck at the bottom

 

hit the release button and try stabbing around where the latch would go in... had some prob... it'll come back up when ya hit the right spot

 

check your fuses again, mine did that a few days ago, i believe its the the fuse 3 left from th top right corner..check them all though
