sdpc egr crisis

i just got it in the mail, and first of all i doesn't clear the coil. Then i was like well ill mount it on the firewall or somethin no big deal. so i installed the air pump hoses that goes from drivers side to pass side, and the kit doesn't clear it!! its a pain in the a$$. can i just make my own egr crossover?

o yah, i have hooker super comp emissions smog style headers, with vette l98 heads and edelbrock baseplate, these are just things that are involved with this dilema
