code 44, 45

I'm getting codes 44 and 45 about 10 minutes after I get on the road in the AM. What's strange is it goes away after about 3 or 4 min. Any ideas on what's going on? I know the codes are for lean and rich mixtures. The O2 sensor is only a few weeks old as well.

Sarge,

Both at the same time? That's almost gotta be an O² sensor connection or circuit problem. Maybe the bias voltage is unstable. Maybe the sensor is too cold. Headers?

I'm just guessing here. Do you have access to a scanner that can read O² crosscounts or mV?

BTW - Your crew is doing an excellent job. I'm sure a lot of their confidence and ability is due to their training.

Thanks Vader! Were you able to catch the downing of Sadam's statue by the Marines today? Go 1st MEF!!! Oooorah!!! Wish I could be there with you!

Anyway, I haven't checked the voltage comming from the O2 sensor yet but will as soon as I can catch it when it's still hot. I still have stock manifolds and such. I need to check to see if the auto hobby shop on base has a scabber. I'm sure they do.

Damn! You guys have all the fun stuff. From A-10s to M-60s, to tools. Come to think of it, isn't an A-10 the "universal repair tool" for a T-72?

Yeah, a "scabber" is going to help a bunch. (We knew what you meant.)
