Hey guys,

I want the AC gone from my car. I already took the compressor out, but I was wondering if I could take out the condenser (the thing in the PS corner of the firewall) as well. Also I am very unsatisfied with the interior blower motor on the 3rd gen's so I was thinking about possibly replacing it with a newer Honda/Toyota unit (they seem more powerful), any feedback on that?

Finally there are two thick hoses going from my engine bay into the interior. One comes from the PS valve cover, and the other from the radiator. I assume these are HVAC related, so if I remove/replace the entire stock system, I can get rid of these?

You can remove everything that belongs to the AC. Remove the box on the firewall and get a non ac blower box but you'll need a non ac blower motor. It's smaller.
The two hoses coming out of your firewall are most likely for the heater core. If you want heat you must leave them.

 

I did the opposite and installed factory A/C in my car. You can remove lots of parts.

Get a non A/C heater box as has been mentioned, then you can remove almost everything under the hood. I personally wouldn't bother with a different blower motor, just use the non A/C blower motor.

You've got the compressor already, you can remove the condensor as you said, also the lines and (evaporator??) thing in front of your rad. Half the brackets holding your compressor can be removed as well, just don't remove the ones holding the power steering pump.

Leave the two hoses for your heater core that go through the firewall if you want heat.

As for the delete box, check your local junkyards FIRST. If no success, try ebay.
