temp Q's for anyone running aluminum heads
I was wondering what kind of changes in the operating temps people had when they changed to aluminum heads what your temps were with IRON heads and now with the alum heads. I have a set of alum heads but and fighting a heating (or I should say cooling) problem and dont want to put a new set of alum's on and warp them. Also will running lean increase the heat? I keep getting a code 13 that comes and goes
. Thanks guys

As for cooling with Al heads, run ONLY deionized water with a healthy 50/50 mix of coolant, otherwise your heads will start to corrode eventually. Oh and code 13 is the O2 sensor, time for a new one. HTH
