ok...car will run FINE...shut it off....and crank it again...glug glug....black smoke....pop the hood, ..turn the dist....it stops....i replaced the ignition module about 3 weeks ago....coud it be that it was faulty from the start and is slowly dying now?? ....i checked my plugs, ...they are fine, ..wires...brand spankin new... coil , cap, rotor...all new....could the lt1 cam be causing this?? ...1 inch spacer for the tbi unit doing it?? all the engine grounds are fine....i seriously have no idea here...HELP!!! please!!!!

 

Whip out your timing light, disconnect the EST, and report back what your spark advance is.
