Switched carb spacers, now car wont start...

Switched carb spacers, now car wont start...
Hey.. just switched from a 1 inch spacer to a 2 inch spacer and now the damn thing wont start.. got it to start for a few seconds but it just stalled out and wont stay running.. got it pretty well flooded now.. anyway why wont it start? i had the carb sitting on its side for a while.. did i **** up the float level? if so how do i reset it? its a holley 650 dp... any ideas are welcomed..

you also have to remember that adding the spacer will increase your airflow, your probably running a bit lean.
better than my problem, ....id crank my car, run fine, shut it off, crank it again, ..glug glug ran like ***.....so i took the dist out, cleaned everything , hooked VERYTHING back up correctly., now it wont start at ALL.....and everything is fine....dist in right, plugs in right order ,...etc etc....
