What's the gear ratio by axle code?

I know this question belongs in the V6 board and I have posted there but maybe someone here can quickly help me. My friend would like to know what ratio he has in his 1986 2.8 Camaro 5-speed. Unfortunately the build sheet(rpo) is missing and the only thing he could find is the code stamped on the housing.
The code is 2HL and we know for sure it is an open differential. Thanks very much.

2HL = 3.42 ratio. Nothing mentioned about being a posi or locking diff. Jack up one wheel and see if it turns.
