Fuel pressure gauge

This is a quick dumb question...
I've been looking for a gauge and I figure instead of buying the big fuel pressure test gauge that's like $35 or $40, can I buy a simple little under the hood gauge like the carbed guys run that screws onto the Schrader valve? Do they make one of those, or is the fuel pressure just too high? Thanks everyone.

Is this on a camaro or the mustang? You can get a T fiiting and splice it into rubber line somewhere. Then just stick a gauge on it. Thats what I did and it works well. Im thinking about running the gauge inside the car if possible.

I think Accel makes an under-hood one. Autometer and other guys make the ones that you'd put inside your car, or on the outside of the hood. Remember to either go with an electric unit, or the Autometer one with the isolation line, if you go into your car. You don't want gas inside the passenger compartment!

Nah, I want one just under the hood for now. Too much of a pain to run gauges inside..I'll deal with that later. I'm supremely lazy. This is for the 5.0....I just want something simple to hook right onto that convenient little Schrader valve. Doesnt matter what kinda car it is though does it, since Schrader valves are universal...?

TBI...that line is highly pressurized though....I don't know if I like the idea of running it into a T junction and into rubber line.. It's not so much the idea, but my inability to do things mechanically and not have them fail on me in 1 week flat that makes me cringe at the thought.

Installed a Autometer Fuel Pressure gage and located it under my
STB. Connected by a 36" SS braided line to the Schrader valve.

Mind giving me specs? Like, the fitting size on that gauge...the gauge can't take a connection directly to the Schrader valve can it?
