Smog pump and AC delete

I plan on replacing my cam, and as you know you have to drain your AC. So i figure if i'm going to drain the AC i might as well take the whole system out because i rarely use it, and if i'm doing that i might as well take off the smog pump too. So my question is how would you re-route the belt and what size belt would i need afer this? Any help would be appreciated. Oh yeah, it's a 92 camaro 3.1

Why would you have to drain the A/C? I just did a complete engine swap and didn't drain the A/C. Am I missing something? Let me know. Is there that big of a difference between V-8 and V-6 A/C systems? Not trying to be a smart aleck. Just needing more knowledge.

Well to get to the camshaft you have to take out the condenser so you have to drain the AC

You can remove the whole thing without draining it. I have read another post where some one did it. But I can't remember the exact details.
