READ--Give me a minute to fix this--geocities is being a bitch with linking of files and saying their gonna shut my site down--i gotta find another host...

Im Not Trying To Put Down This Board But The Pictures Will Only Show Sometimes So I Hope This Can Be Fixed--The Pictures ARE There--I Included The Links So You Can Look At Them

Yes, trying to link files from Geo****ies is a be-atch. Does the word "suck" come to mind?

Anyway, what is the fan turn-on temperature, according to the dash gauge? And what is the indicated oil pressure at warm idle?

You should be aware that the dash gauges aren't all that accurate, and that the oil pressure and temperature sensors for the gauges do get out of calibration frequently. If you're concerned about oil pressure, the first thing you should do is install a mechanical test gauge in a convenient port, like the gallery plug at the front of the block above the water pump - your '88 should have the 1/8" pipe plug. Compare that to the dash gauge to get a reality check.
