Help & Recomendations

Had a bolt twist off when pulling the thermostat housing, & when finally got out the rest of the bolt, found the intake cracked & chipped off at the bottom of the bolt hole.



Am considering going to Edelbrock intake, but unsure whether I will need the EGR one or not, maybe a vacuum Demon carb, but will be non-computer which then means swapping a new distributer!

I never have done a distributer before so don't know anything about the different ones.

Almost forgot, it all needs to fit under factory hood.

Any ideas!?

Yes. When you get the intake off, you'll only be a few more bolts from removing the cam and installing something that will work better with your new intake and fuel system. The exhaust would be the next system to upgrade.

Watch your hood clearance with the Demon carb and aftermarket intake. You may want to visit the Carb Board and get some measurements there.
