My car is idling eratic and surging when cruising. I also get code 22 (low voltage). Is the TPS dead or dying? I believe it can cause the surging but also the bad idle??

make sure the voltage is @.54 volts dc at idle and near 5 vdc at wot. use a digital voltage meter. if you cant get a reading your tps is probably bad.

 

What if it is .54 at idle but only gets up to 4 at WOT? Should it be replaced?
