Piston question

Ok i'm fixing to start my 383. One thing that is confusing me is what is the difference in a 30 over poston for a 355 and a 30 over piston for a 383. Is there a differnece?

Assuming both have the same rod length of 5.7 then the 350 will have a greater compression height (the distance from the center of the pin hole and the top of the piston), the 350 will have about 1.54 and the 383 will have about 1.433

both would be made to fit 4.030 hole, the wrist pin location would/could/should be differant depending on what rod length you used
