Where do I find a 14x5 K&N air filter? And how do I cut through a metal hood?

Places like Pep Boys only carry smaller filters and summit and jegs have replacement filters...where the heck do I get the good ones?!
And the metal sawsall bit it having a really hard time getting through the hood...should I just tough it out and do it or is there an easier way? Damn me for not being able to find another fiberglass hood!

Noooo!!!! don't cut the hood!! heh heh. I remember cutting a hole in my old carz hood so the filter would fit. It was sticking out from the hood. Anyways. you ever try Checker? I don't know if they have that down there but I've seen a 14X5 before. But anyways. I used a little nibler thing. It's an air powered tool that acts like a hole puncher just faster and stronger. Or if not that. Then you could get a Rotozip. That **** workz good.

the filter will be sticking out regardless so I might as well get a big *** one to take advantage of it...no, there aren't any checkers....but I'll try to find some other options on cutting the hood tomorrow...what works well on cutting exhaust tubing? I could probably use the same thing...
Anywhere else I could get a big *** air filter...MeanYellowZ must know

Buy the K&N filter catalog. Then call Summit Racing and have them order it. Of course you need this quickly, so just call Summit Racing 1-800-230-3030 and ask them for help.

I've seen them in Jegs and Summit before if your just talking about the K&N Filter alone. I am assuming that's what your talking about, otherwise you could just buy a regular 14" aircleaner assembly and buy a 14"x5" filter.
