car hesitates after second gear
Please help, this is downright annoying. Last year the car ran great. No hiccups, nothing.
I took it out of storage about a month ago, and now as soon as i shift in third, WOT mind you, the car bogs and hesitates. Sometimes, it'll just sit at 3600 rpm and just struggle. Fourth gear does the same. First and second are okay, but they just don't feel as good they did last year.
At first i thought it could be the timing. It was originally set at 14 initial, so i brought it down to 6 just to see if that was it, but it made no difference.
I'm thinking it could be the fuel pump, but it's only a year old.
It a carter m6900. Any thoughts?

Sounds like classic fuel starvation. You run it wide open loing enough to drain the fuel bowl in the carb, the fuel system can't refill it.
Start with a fuel filter. It's probably not the pump. If that doesn't fix it, you have schmutz buildup in the gas tank.
