Can I tee the PCV valve off of my power brake booster hose??
Here's the situation...I'm running an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap manifold and a Holley 700 DP carb. I had to plug off the vacuum port in the manifold, since there was only a 1/4 of an inch between it and the bottom of the carb. So I'm using the carb itself for the vacuum source (you know, on the secondary side under the float bowl). The only things I need vacuum for are the power brake booster and the PCV valve. I will be using a vacuum reservoir canister as well. Will it be okay to tee the PCV valve into the hose going to either the reservoir or the brake booster itself? The last thing I want to happen is come to a stop light with no brakes. Thanks in advance.

I will have to look to say for sure, but on my edelbrock, my brakes are hooked to the on outlet on the back side of the carb closest to the distributer, and on the front I have 3 outlets. 1 is to the mechanical advance, one is to the pcv, and the other is to a canister. Not sure if you have the same outlets/inlets as me though. But if you go to the carb board and ask jester, I bet you he could tell you, he is a holley finatic. Just throw him a pm.
By your edelbrock do you mean the carb or the intake? Either way, I only have one port on each, and the one on the manifold is completely unaccessable unless I use a spacer, which I do not want to do. The low profile fitting will not fit there. Thanks again.

Both actually, I have an edelbrock performer rpm intake, and an edelbrock 750 carb. I do not us any port on the intake either. Mine is plugged. Do you have a mechanical advance distributer, or is your car computer controlled or what.
