$9.88 each for STOCK replacement valve springs for my L98.
Please tell me that's a ripoff. That's what the local parts guy at dealership quoted me.

I want to rebuild my heads (valve job, mild porting, Manley valves), keep stock cam for now, and add Comp Cams Pro Magnum roller rockers. What springs do I need, or what price should I expect to pay?

Anyone know of or can recommend a kit I can buy that includes seals, gaskets, keepers, etc.

 

yeah i'd say they're wanting to intercourse you pretty good. for that kind of money you could buy a very good spring from any of the major cam grinders. for around 50 dollars you ought to be able to find something similar to what you have.
