Anyone ever MAKE their own heater box?
I've been searching for a non a/c heater box for some time now and haven't been able to locate one locally and I keep getting outbid on ebay. Has anyone here ever made their own?

My brother made a box so that heat will still work. I posted pics a long time ago on here, do a search for AC delete box or something like that. I still haven't hooked it up yet though.

Well, not completely, but I cut out all of the A/C stuff out of mine and then fiberglassed over the open area. Looks and works great.

I've got one from a friend who wrecked his camaro. He had a guy make it out of sheetmetal for him. I'm going to powdercoat it black to go in my car, but overall it's good. Doesn't weigh much at all.
Most people use the non-ac 1le version or I've heard a S-10 without AC can work too.
