I believe the rockers are self aligning. To be sure pull a valve cover and check them.
If you do have self aligning rockers, I doubt if the stock pushrods are hardened.
Full roller rockers have a lot less friction. Generate a lot less heat and provide more accurate valve actuation. They will drop oil temp 30 degs or so. Stamped rockers flex and the ratio can vary a suprising amount between individual rockers.

30 degs??

Anyone have any hard proof of that? That sounds like a lot. I've also heard things like "Roller rockers are good for 20hp! over your stamped roller-tip".. Any hard proof of that either?

I have no proof, but thats probably true. Most roller-rockers are cast peices that won't flex, and the stamped GM peices will flex. I dunno about 20hp, but they are definitely worth something.

"Rubber rockers" as RB is known to call them

In John Lingenfelters book "on modifying small-block chevy engines" pg. 114 it says a 10-15 deg drop in oil temp on a stock eng.

I read somewhere else (don't remember where), that if significantly stronger valve springs are used (i.e. 380-420 lbs open), the oil temp reduction is around 30 degs.

I can't prove the second part, but it sounds reasonable.
