Transmission: 700R4 T-56 coming
need to start 88 formula with broken stearing colum

just boughht it for 250 bucks rebuilt motor and trans w/ reciepts. but I still want to start it and see what it sounds like. the key just turns andf nada. i think its got a snapped wire. is there a way to start it hot wire it or whatever? my 70 mustang was eZy. solinoid was up top I dont care what I rip apart there its messed up any way I just want the motor and treans and int. and Ill part out the rest. its decent shape but he had to get rid of it. thnkjs

oh oops its a 305 TBI 700 r4

and the car wAS running and being driven 2 weeks ago with no prob except for a charging prob. the bat is new and charged.

Get power to the ignition, power to the ECM, and operate the starter with a jumper. If the car has VATS, you'll have to get around that ECM input as well.
