I have a Superpro Tach II its a piece of crap but it was free... Anyways i began wiring it and i couldnt find out what to do with the green wire... The Directions say that it is supposed to go to the Ignition Coil Negative... I have no idea what that means. I was wondering if it would be possible for me to wire it somewhere within the Drivers Cabin, perhaps under the dash, or even the wire that the stock tach wire... Heres where i could use some assistance.

1. Can i have a picture or a more detailed explaination of where the negative side of my coil is and what i would attach this little green wire to... A picture would be splended.

2. Is it at all possible to attach this stupid green wire to anything inside of my veichle? IF so where? yet again detailed picture would be superb.


I ran a search and i got no pictures and no one tried to wire it inside of their car.

89 Iroc-z the ignition coil is next to the distributor not on it, its a 305 TPI.

 

Try Actron.com! they make sunpro equipment and have tach manuals with instructions and pictures on their web site.

 

that was helpful but they didnt offer me any pictures... and it didnt help my question as if i could wire it inside of the drivers cabin.
