Gas on the outside of my car.
when fill up my tank or even get it close to full, ill drive my car for a little while and park it at home or someplace. when i go to my car again to drive it, there is always gas all over the side of the car below the gas cover. it seems to be leaking out from somewhere. it dosnt make sense to me why the gas would come up and out of the tank. its leaking from high up cause its all over the black part that is right below the gas cap. has anybody ever had this problem? it smells really strong too, but it dosnt do this on a low tank.

Sure you're not overfilling it? I know I've done that with past cars, and the same thing happens.
Hey, do you know when they're going to have the Hot Rods car show at Food Lion on Sats again? I can't wait to go.

Or the vent could be blocked. The pressure will make the gas go somewhere if the vent tube or vent screen won't let the excessive pressure out.
Can ya guess where it goes?

I am having the same problem with my gas tank. I put a new line in my tank and ran another fuel pump for my car. The in-tank pump is still there and I use that for my nitrous system. What do you guys think the problem is? Is that vent too small or maybe blocked? Will running two pumps from the tank cause this? Note that I run the holley pump (outside of the tank) at all times and the stock in-tank pump just when I use nitrous. There is gas on my car when I run the holley pump to my carb. Thanks in advance.
