Fuse block and wiring question.....

When I pulled my engine out I took all the wires with it, cutting most of them in a hurry, not marking any of them. The motor is back in, engine bay painted, etc. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for under the hood, from the firewall plug (fuse block)? I have both Chilton's and Hayne's manuals but I don't see anything useful in them for this case. Can I just look at the fuse location diagram and assume the wire behing each fuse corresponds with the label? I am going with a carb (not sure which one yet, probably Road Demon) so the computer will not be returning.

Eric,

As fas as electrical schematics go, both Chilton's and Hayne's manuals have very very very poor diagrams.

My factory manual has probably over a hundred pages (I'm guessing) devoted to JUST the electrical system, and that covers just ONE year (albeit several engine models). All wire colors, ground points and all connectors are CLEARLY identified making use easy. Now, when you consider that Hayne's and Clinton's only have 8 pages or so covering "how many years?", there is no comparison.

A factory manual will cost about $100, but it'll be money well spent (if you're serious about the maintenance).

Sorry I couldn't answer your question.

Regrets.
