installed mufflex exhaust.. car wont start...

I bolted my mufflex exhaust in today it took like 4 hrs beacuse I had to do most by myself. Either way my car wont start now. I have no clue why because I am getting spark and fuel. Also, it started fine before the install and during when I had to change the ramps from front to back. Anyone have any ideas. It sounds like I am getting intermittent spark... I didnt have time to check. I got a huge backfire out of the carb (with a small fire) and a very loud backfire out of the exhaust while trying to start it. It will turn but not all the way over-that is my starter is working. I was supposed to race tonight but my car sits home in the garage. Thanks

Both my brothers cars did this crap once in a while. Hold the throttle wide open and try to start it while keeping the throttle wide open. Just a suggestion. It worked for them.

Ya tried that one. It usually works when the car is flooded but no luck. Maybe it has to sit for a while and unfortunatley it will for a week.

hmmmm... you may have before I purchased my headers. I went with the hooker long tubes which you probably assumed by the mufflex system. Just put in that motor last summer so im still tryin to get it going.
