2.73 to 3.08 Gain ??
Will a gear change from 2.73 to 3.08 gears provide me a notable gain or is it a waist of time.... I'm trying to stay with these kind of low gears to keep my top speed.
Thanks

If you went to 3.23's or 3.42's then yes, you would be able to feel the difference. I dont think swapping to 3.08's will be that amazing.

2.73 to 3.08 probably wont do much at all, u might notice a little difference but nuthin really. i went from 3.08 to 3.27 and it made a huge difference, i gained 2 tenhts at the track, wooo hooo. id suggest the 3.23 or 3.27s with a stockish TPI or TBI. 3.45s will be to low for an automatic with a stock TPI. @ 5K in 3rd in an auto with the 3.27s its like 117mph. fast enough. ull get there a hell of a lot quicker then with the damned 3,08 or 2.73s. the only thing i found the 3.08s good for was burnouts.
