You can check the air in the tires.
Check the spark plugs, both their condition and their gap. Clean them off with a wire wheel and re-gap them.
Check the resistance of your spark plug wires to make sure they're OK.
Remove excess weight like the spare tire, rear seats, interior panels, carpet and take a dump.
Advance your timing as much as you can before the engine starts to knock.
Flip your air cleaner lid over to make a Hillbilly open element air cleaner.
Rip off the exhaust.
That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure there's MUCH more.
