Clogged injector = Blown motor?
I need new injectors. im considering LT1 injectors or used SVO injectors.
My friend says that if one of them is bad or clogged i WILL blow my motor. does that sound right? what are the chanced of an injector blowing a motor?

If the injector was partially clogged, it'd simply mean that cylinder would be running lean; which can be dangerous. However you'd have to be running it at a pretty extreme rpm before damage could take place.
If they were all clogged you could run into overheating and such. But the simple fix is to pay the $40 or whatever and have them cleaned. Or clean them yourself, i found an interesting article somewhere on how to.

Just zip 'em out to Rich Jensen at http://www.cruizinperformance.com for a cleaning... his prices & service are great! If anything, with a clogged injector, you'd notice a driveability problem (like a miss, a stumble, lack of power, bad gas mileage, etc); and you'd wind up tracing it down to the injector anyway.
