Engine Block Questions

What is the advantage of converting a non roller block to a roller block? am i to assume that any good machine shop can do this, and what shoud i expect to pay. thanks for your help

It's not possible. But if it was, there would be no advantage, except that since there's more of the factory "roller" setup around than there are the kind they now call "retrofit", the lifters are cheaper.
