Alum driveshaft and vibration
Installed alum driveshaft last weekend (1LE GMPP piece) and car still vibrates at around 75. I admit it could be tires or something but I was wondering about this... (didn't find anything related in previous posts)
The rear u joint I bought from Autozone has an offset in it. The part of the cross that bolts to the rear as one cap further away from orthogonal cross than the other cap. My old factory steel shaft has the same type of offset u joint. While trying to figure out which way the offset was on the stock shaft I forgot how it came out so I guessed when installing the new shaft.
My ultimate question is does the offset matter? Seems that it would. I'm contemplating just spinning it 180 and seeing if there is any difference.

no idea if it matters or not, but no harder than it is to do i think i'd spin it 180* and see if it helps.
